On Friday, March 22nd, STANDO LTD had the pleasure of hosting the kick-off meeting in the vibrant city of Nicosia, Cyprus. Representatives from our consortium partners in Ireland, Cyprus, North Macedonia, Italy, and Denmark gathered to lay the foundation for our collaborative project.

During the meeting, we explored crucial topics such as management, dissemination, sustainability, and evaluation plans. However, the highlight was diving into the next steps for our research project, WP2. This phase involves creating an evidence-based report on the status of supportive housing for individuals with autism, accompanied by a detailed needs analysis.

At present, our consortium is undertaking several national-level studies aimed at identifying the additional needs of high-functioning individuals with autism who live independently. In the near future, we will publish our first evidence-based report, which will consolidate research findings from all partner countries. Following this milestone, our efforts will shift toward developing a comprehensive handbook, immersive VR environments, and an engaging online e-learning platform.
